Boulder Velo Racing is recruiting new members for 2009.
Why join Boulder Velo Racing?
Sure, we're a registered club (like every other in the ACA), but a key difference is that we put the word "team" before "club", and not the other way around.
Our team is small by comparison to many, but we believe that quality is more important than quantity. Despite our small numbers we race in three masters categories, yet our results, both individual (BAR) and team (BAT) speak for themselves.
If you're an active, experienced racer, hold a category 3 or higher license, and race in either the 35+ open or 45+ categories, then we'd like to hear from you.
What we expect from you:
In order to be considered, candidates must agree to our Code of Ethics, and demonstrate teamwork and respect.
Team members must participate in group training rides, compete in a minimum of ten (10) ACA or USCF sanctioned race events, and perform volunteer work at team sponsored race events when necessary.
Successful organizations require active participation. We feel that the success of our team is a result of the dedication and support of our team members. Direct participation from our members is not only requested, but expected. We are not interested in potential team members whose motivation is to be associated with a team, yet have no time or interest in supporting it.
