Weather Update

.TONIGHT...CLOUDY WITH SNOW LIKELY. SNOW ACCUMULATION AROUND
1 INCH. LOWS IN THE LOWER 20S. CHANCE OF SNOW 60 PERCENT.
.SATURDAY...CLOUDY WITH SNOW LIKELY. SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 1 TO 3
INCHES. HIGHS IN THE LOWER 30S. CHANCE OF SNOW 60 PERCENT.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...MOSTLY CLOUDY. CHANCE OF SNOW IN THE EVENING...
THEN A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SNOW AFTER MIDNIGHT. LOWS AROUND 20.
CHANCE OF SNOW 30 PERCENT.

Check out the email that DBCEvents sent out, here is a pdf. Interesting point is that they will be using transpoders to track times!! While that sounds cool and hopefully will increase fairness in the field it does add more headaches to the rider.... quote...

If your transponder is not affixed to your bike, you will not receive a finish time.....

Transponders will be distributed at race registration, and must be returned following the event or you will be charged the $97.50 replacement cost. Race volunteers will be removing transponders at the finish line. If you do not finish, or decide not to race, you must stop by the finish and return your transponder.

I'm willing to deal with it if it gets bigger and better races from DBCEvents.com which has been the case so far over the years. Thanks Chris G.






Looks like Roubaix will be like the Cateye race all over again!

Since the weather will suck you might want to consider pre registering the day before, I know I will.
